The goal of this newsletter is to provide you with industry insights and information that will positively impact your journey as you build a resilient cybersecurity program and organization.

While some experts question its efficacy, proponents believe it’s a positive step toward improved security, especially in IoT, and a move toward continuous security assessments for suppliers.

There may soon be unified cyber incident reporting options on the horizon. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is proposing a centralized reporting portal to simplify federal cyber incident procedures. With over 52 existing or proposed reporting requirements, this initiative follows the recent Cyber Incident Reporting for Critical Infrastructure Act or CIRCIA. CISA is leading the effort to refine and streamline these regulations. This development signifies a notable shift towards efficiency in cyber reporting.
